How do you decide if your program is a good fit?

Before we begin working with anyone, we take time to meet with the family and learn about the individual. We have an honest conversation about what we offer, what the person needs, and whether we are the right match. If we are not, we will say so and try to point you in a helpful direction.

What should I bring or prepare for an initial conversation?

Nothing formal is required. Just come ready to share a little about the person you are supporting — their interests, their routines, and what kind of support you are looking for. We will guide the conversation from there.

What areas do you serve?

Our day program is based in Essex, Ontario. Our 1-to-1 respite services are available across the Windsor-Essex region. If you are unsure whether we serve your area, please reach out and we will let you know.

How quickly can support be arranged?

This depends on availability and how well we are able to match a support worker to the individual. We will give you an honest timeline during our initial conversation.

We assess each situation individually. During our initial conversation, we will discuss the person's needs openly and honestly to determine whether our program and team are the right fit.

What information do I need to provide when I contact you?

Just your name, contact details, and a general message is all we need to start. We do not ask for diagnoses, medical records, or sensitive care details at this stage.
